The Delastek management team is pleased to announce the opening of a manufacturing centre in Mexico. Located in the city of Santiago de Querétaro, approximately 200 kilometres northwest of Mexico City, this initiative required an investment of $3 million and will create 100 jobs over two years. Client proximity, quality of life and skilled labour were important factors in the choice of location.
Delastek counts on a first-rate Mexican partner in Collectron, which was a determining factor in this decision and greatly facilitated project implementation, employee recruitment, relations with the Santiago de Querétaro business community, as well as identification of key collaborators, such as Advance Real Estate.
In a time of market globalization and following the opening of its American production facility in Plattsburgh, New York at the beginning of 2016 and its Chinese sales office last fall, Delastek further strengthens its position among the ranks of world-class suppliers. Its highly successful business model is recognized by the largest worldwide aerospace and transportation manufacturers.
The establishment of operations in Mexico constitutes phase III of the company’s strategic plan to expand its international presence and thrive in the global marketplace.
