The Shawinigan plant and head office were fortunate to receive an important delegation from the state of Queretaro, Mexico, on March 27, 2019.
Francisco Domínguez Servién, the governor of the state, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, secretary of sustainable development and Guillermo Lozano, director of the promotion of the investment visited the installations shawiniganaises. Having opened a factory in Santiago de Querétaro, the state capital in spring 2017, it was a unique opportunity for company executives to present upcoming projects. For Delastek President Claude Lessard, the international take-off of the company is far from over: “We are very honored to receive the governor of the state of Querétaro and very proud to announce that we will make several investments in the coming year at our Querétaro plant to meet the growing demand of our customers. In addition to hiring new employees and purchasing new equipment, we will also expand our facilities. ”

We hope to conclude a new investment project in our State, during this year, which will involve a significant increase in the number of workers related to the production of aircraft cabins in Querétaro.
Anticipating to mark the official opening of the Santiago de Querétaro plant in June of this year, Claude Lessard is very enthusiastic about the coming years: “We are in a very important phase of growth. We are working very hard to continue the development of the company internationally and at our head office in Shawinigan.
